Vice President/ Special Events;

- Suzanne needs to get a good picture of Angie's metal clay sample for the retreat class so it can be put on the website with the others.

- For the silent auction, we have 2 felted purses from Toni Fohey, a handwoven scarf from Deb Bednarek, various beading supplies and a fancy checkbook cover from Laurie Kestelman, something enamelled from Renee Corya, earrings from Cindy Collins, a knitting gift basket from Pat Fricano, with more to come. Items will start at 1/2 the value of the item.  Deb will help Julie in setting up the auction.

- "Loop" yarnstore has opened at 2963 Humboldt and is worth a visit.

-  The community rooms where Renee lives are available for possible future projects and/or classes that we may want to offer.  Parking is available and they require a $15 deposit.

Secretary:

- Nottingham Beads gave Deb the gift certificates and pieces from the Vintaj challenge.  She will return these to the owners at the December meeting and they've all been contacted regarding this. The winning pieces are on display in the store throughout the month of December and pictures are on Nottingham's website.

- Discussion on past and future LBS members' only sales at the various local stores.  The society has never been responsible for members attending and has made that known when these events were set up. It was decided to handle this on an individual basis as stores try to set up events for 2008.

Membership;

- A few more renewals came in since the meeting.

- The bylaw amendment passed at the last meeting and Julie is working on writing that up for the official bylaws.

- Rhonda will check with the post office to see if we can get another key for the post office box.

Treasurer:

- Our accounts stands at $1668.16 before December activity.

- The catagories and funds for 2007 were examined by the board and % of the total budget for each category will be examined next month for the 2008 financial plan.

- Discussion on membership owned versus non profit organziations for the 501C paperwork.

- Pat has the retreat information on the website.

- She wants to add information for 2008; programs, dates of meetings, etc., and will add that as she receives it.

- Cindy Collins was welcomed as our new newsletter editor. We're glad to have you join us!
