Loose Bead Society of Greater Milwaukee Members present: Deb Bednarek, Ann Cook, Pat Fricano and Kathy Willmering -Discussion on board officer’s vacancies and how to handle between now and the October elections. Decision that 2009 elections will be the focus of the August business meeting before the regularly scheduled program. - Decision to tentatively cancel the July 2008 membership meeting due to the unforeseen circumstances that have recently developed. Pat will send out an email notice to all of the members that she has on her current list and post the cancellation on the website main page. Debbie will post a notice on the library door Monday for those who do not receive the email notice or check the website. This decision will become final once Renee is contacted since she is the acting President. - Kathy informed the board that she had not yet received all of the membership information on the data base from Julie as of Monday. She is working on consolidating all current membership information with the help of Ann and the others on the board. No membership directory will come out for 2008 due to the transition of chairperson duties. Respectfully submitted, |
