Loose Bead Society of Greater Milwaukee
Board Meeting- March 3, 2008
Unos’ Restaurant- Brookfield 7:00 p.m.
Members present: Suzanne Leberman, Debbie
Bednarek, Julie Miller, Renee Corya and Ann Cook.
Rhonda Kutz, Pat Fricano and Cindy Collins were absent
Retreat update. Group went over enrollments for each class and day; 31
members total signed up. Discussion and decisions on luncheon choices for each
day as well as other last minute details.
Julie has extra key now for post office; she will hang on to it for the time
being until group decides who should have it.
Julie went to Kinko’s for the printing of membership brochures and discovered
the reason the amount couldn’t always be accessed for payment; there’s an
extra space in the group name in their computer. How to fix?
Discussion concerning sending letter to local bead stores reiterating corporate
membership and its benefits.
Programming committee presented its 2008 budgetary needs to date. Some programs
need further planning to solidify exact budget amounts.
Discussion on raising membership fee for 2009; no decision was made.
Discussion on board meeting less frequently; will monitor month to month at this
point.
